The recipients are: Corey Sherwood of St. EdmundCampion High School from Brampton Elizabeth Truong of Emily CarrSecondary School from Woodbridge Heather Kere of Ryerson Universityfrom Markham The award was presented today by the Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. The Honourable Lincoln M. Alexander, former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, and the Honourable Michael Chan, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration also attended. Today's ceremony coincides with the United Nation's Human Rights Day. Established in 1993, the award was created in honour of Lincoln Alexander, Ontario's first black Lieutenant Governor. Three outstanding young Ontarians are awarded annually. As
