Joel Quenneville Dept: TORONTO -- There's a shakeup coming at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. President and chief executive officer Richard Peddie has announced he will retire from the position at the end of next year. Peddie was named MLSE's inaugural president and CEO in February 1998 after the purchase of the Toronto Raptors and Air Canada Centre by Maple Leaf Gardens Ltd. "Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment is what it is today due in large measure to the great team that Richard Peddie has built," said MLSE chairman Larry Tanenbaum, according to Vancouver Sun. CHICAGO -- It's another bump in the road for veteran forward Marian Hossa. After missing two weeks with an upper-body injury earlier this season, the 31-year-old is expected to be sidelined two-to-three weeks with a lower-body injury, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday. Hossa was injured during practice Monday when he collided with defenceman Nick Boynton. Hossa had to be helped off the ice. "Since he came back from when he was injured earlier , he was progressing -- he was coming off a great game in Los Angeles, played a lot of minutes, played him on a couple lines," Joel Quenneville said to the Tribune after Tuesday's morning skate and sPORTS: PEDDIE TO RETIRE AS MAPLE LEAF BOSS HOCKEY: HOSSA SIDELINED AFTER HIT AT PRACTICE As
