Country Dept: As a woman who grew up in a Muslim majority country, I applaud Canada's new immigration ruling regarding the removal of niqabs and other face coverings while taking the citizenship oath and wish the same rule would be applied to all aspects of Canadian public life, according to Vancouver Sun.
